Used these to replace the worn out, paper thin insoles in my Bean duck boots. They are much warmer and provide good insulation from the cold ground being transmitted through the sole of the boot. The only caveat is that since they are thicker the the insoles that come with the boot, they will make the boot a little more snug. I recommend trying them for any winter or work boots that spend a lot of time out in the cold.
