Review on Aquaneat Reticulated Sponge Filter Aquarium by Nathan Theriault

I have a hanging filter (HOB) and I LOVE the ability to modify it to increase the surface area. This sponge is porous so doesn't clog easily, but adds a lot of surface area for filtering. Being able to crop it to the size I want is great because I can stick it in any corner of the filter! I have paired this with Aquaneat ceramic rings. The inlet pre-filter sponge keeps the water in my aquarium crystal clear. The only thing I could say could be improved is just cosmetic. The black version will be less visible in the filter. Of course, if you have a sump or canister, this is not a problem.
