Review on Enoki IO Ceiling Fan by πŸŒ€ Prominence Home - 52 Inch, Pewter Finish by Maili Silcox

Control by remote control or Wi-Fi.

This is a fairly large (52" blade size) modern fan. It's not as streamlined and stylish as some modern ceiling fans, which blends in well with many rooms. This fan has a number of nice features that you should know about. Positive aspects : 1) The fan is quiet and powerful. Not noisy unless installed incorrectly, which includes use in a dimmer or rheostat circuit.2) Prominence fans are well tested for basic performance and reliability. We Haven't had this fan in years so I can't personally attest, but the reviews here on Revain and elsewhere (Walmart, Overstock, Lowes) are generally positive 3) IMPORTANT!This fan has a built in remote control as well as a Wi -Fi smart control feature via Fansio app (which you need to download and install on your phone to use Wi-Fi control) I ha I bought this fan for the remote control and WiFi capability, as remote controls always disappear or break over time. 4) Integrated remote and Wi-Fi control means this ceiling fan can be upgraded to an existing two wire/single switch configuration. while you can control both the light and fan without pull chains. I don't like tension chains and this allows you to get rid of them even if you don't have two cord chains coming from separate switches to control lights and fans separately. 5) Easy to install on flat or sloped ceilings. Accommodates ceiling slopes of up to seventeen degrees before requiring another base (sold separately).6. The fan has three speeds and is reversible, but reversing requires flipping a switch on the fan housing. Remember: 1) The built-in LED of this fan has a temperature of 3000K, which is warmer rather than cooler. Warm white 2700K, the normal color of an incandescent lamp. It's a bit colder but still on the yellow side of the spectrum. 2) The backlight of this fan is built-in LED. Are you wondering why this is important? I'm not a fan of built-in LEDs. I prefer replaceable LEDs. All over my house supposedly "lifetime" LED bulbs flicker and die after just a year of use. 3) DO NOT use this fan in a circuit with a rheostat or dimmer in front of it. This will cause noise and flickering, and you will think the fan is broken. Use the built-in dimmer. 4) This fan is for indoor use, not for outdoor use. 5) The Fansio app requires you to be connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. Once the app is installed and you're signed in, the app will scan for the fan's Wi-Fi signal, connect, and then tell the fan your Wi-Fi channel name and password before returning to the main router, where it finds you can then control the fan.
