Review on Hydro Flask Vacuum Insulated Stainless by James Vachon

I have another hydroflask with a straw top and it's great for cold drinks and doesn't even leak upside down. I was so addicted to the hydro flask that I bought it for my morning coffee and other hot drinks as it comes with this type of hot drink flip top cap and is perfect for morning coffee. It does a great job of keeping my drinks warm for hours, but like other reviewers, I think this lid needs serious work. Every time I drink coffee I get a brown nose from condensation on the flip cap and it leaks horribly, not only at the top but the seal doesn't seem quite right allowing liquid to drip down the sides even with the cap screwed on is. on tight. Not sure how that happens. I hand wash the bottoms and put the tops in the top rack dishwasher every few days. It has never affected the seal on my straw cap. Addendum: Looking at my other bottle, I found that the silicone seal was missing. It must have fallen into the dishwasher and then been thrown away without knowing what it was for. That's why it's leaking from under the seal, but my review of the hinged lid still stands as leaking and faulty.
