Not sure what to think of this yet. The first one I got looked like the return was dusty and there was hair in the filter. But it worked. I just didn't feel good knowing this was going to be a comeback. I received the replacement in 2 days, very happy with the service. If I leave it on Auto it seems to turn off on long drives so I'm not sure if it's a timer or driving for so long without a break, if it thinks the car is parked or turned off. In manual mode it did the same thing and shut down, not sure what's going on there as well. I understand the car has a clean smell so I assume it works. I have this in my 2017 Honda Ridgeline, there is about 12 inches of clearance under the center back seat next to the air recirculation. I think that's the perfect spot for him, also given that if you lock the brakes he won't move or hurt anyone. What I would change is the LED strip with visual fan speed as well as the red light to signal the filter needs replacing. It also includes velcro to keep it in place or move. It's only been a week, I'll keep everyone posted.
