The fatal flaw with the making the cut merch is they do 't know how to dress large bodies. This dress is beautiful and it's made from cotton and it's heavy and quality. The problem is they don't design on a standard block AND a large block so for the plus size they just move the seams out all over the pattern and not really just where the body is bigger. This dress is exactly that. When you purchase for your largest measurement ( mine being my hips) the shoulders and armholes are ENORMOUS. Just because my hips are 6 inches larger than a standard body does not mean my shoulders are 6 inches higher or wider. It's so frustrating. I know brands are trying to be more inclusive but that means understanding bigger bodies and designing on blocks that represent our actual big bellies, or big butts, or big hips. It's a beautiful dress and I wish it fit my body. I had to send it back and I was so disappointed.
