Very bright dual stage LED brake lights. That means they don't have a reverse or amber function, they're read only and much brighter than red. In normal driving mode, there's a stunning red halo that looks great with my brake lights. And when you brake, everything gets brighter, including the central stripe that lights up very intensely. I don't really like the rubber cover as it often falls out when I move the hitch but every time I've left them outside I sadly have to say these lights have been neglected and have withstood even more abuse from the rain and weather in cold Detroit winter, too hot 90° Southwest Florida, and they worked great. Which is amazing, even with these things being so bright we ended up in the back with a cargo bed attached in broad daylight, the main reason I'm adding this to the review is to let you know the headlights are still great after about 10 -15 km. collision per hour. I figured that wrapping it in a loop of duct tape or black tape would probably increase the diameter enough to hold them in, but I could potentially see that losing those lights was a problem. If you lose them it would suck because you'd probably pay twice as much for the lights which I found to be about twice as bad at the rest stop. All the big stores and truck stops had bulbs that looked similar but had nothing to do with their wattage, but the mounting solution for the rubber body ring definitely left something to be desired. On my custom cargo trailer pallet that I'm using it on, I weather sealed, soldered, and heat shrunk all of the cables so I feel like the power cable's stiffness keeps mine in place, but that's just something worthwhile To be mentioned Load the trailer tray was Reese if that helps.
