Perfectly designed and manufactured. It does EXACTLY what it's supposed to do: charge and care for your expensive batteries. Fully automatic and no frills. All quality in the box. I have bought over 20 solar units over the years and have never had a problem with any of them. The instruction manual is extensive and well written. There are devices with cute LED displays and flashing lights, but they're mostly plastic, underrated, and fragile in construction. Xantrex units are designed to safely and automatically charge your expensive solar panels/battery. The lugs/clips are large enough to make a good connection with wires up to 4 gauge, making for a clean and secure installation. Install it and forget about it. I like it. I bet 10.
