Absolute nonsense. After using this kit, the pump started to work worse. In fact, it left me stranded at sea. I ordered two but am glad I only spent time with one motor at first so I could still take a good one home. But it never got very far until the problem was discovered. Engine could not be started from idle. The springs are thinner and weaker than the original springs and do not fit into the body. The rubber material of the membrane stretches worse than the Magic Sleeve in less than 20 minutes of idle. The check valve locking pins did not bind and the plastic valve plate did not seal against the valve seat. When I got home I took the pump apart, put in the old parts and ran like a champ.
