Review on 🚰 J.C. Whitlam FLOW32 Flow-Aide System Descaler - 32oz (1qt), White by Tony Winn

I have never used this product and I'm not sure if my experience was normal. 18 months since my Rinnai was new (we have a well and use a good quality water softener and acid neutralizer). I was told to expect this product and the mixing water to make aqua water (due to the copper pipes losing some of their color) but my experience was BLACK water and quite a bit of content in the water (e.g. thin sauce effect). . After one wash (which was almost as dark as the water and FlowAide mixture) I decided to try some distilled vinegar I had on hand and ran it a second time and that seemed to complete the process. It just seemed unusual. I'll try again in 6 months and see how it goes. Of course, the debris on the boiler tubes seemed to have been removed!
