I still use baby care bags to separate the dirty from the clean, but after a few uses some of the bags stopped sealing. I can partially seal them and some days it's difficult to seal them at all so they're no longer used as a leak or shut down option, but still separate dirty and clean things in the bag. Original: I bought these with the intention of using them in my daughter's daycare bag to carry food when it runs out and to take the messy bowl, spoons and bib home without the rest of the things in her bag. They are great for our needs. We used a bag for pickling vegetables and the bag soaked up the smell. We will continue to use this bag for marinating, but will not use the others for food purposes, except as a spare bag in case the container leaks, or a cold cuts bag if the zip breaks.
