I admit that my expectations of running a circular saw with a 1000 watt inverter may have been set too low. After further research, a slightly higher wattage would satisfy my needs. First review: I installed this inverter as part of a solar charging station. The inverter is connected to 2 large deep cycle batteries. The measured voltage was 128 VAC. I tried to start a Skil saw and it barely turned the saw blade, not to mention the strain on the inverter/saw when cutting. The 1000W inverter must have at least enough power to rotate the saw with no load.
