The Clear20 water filter jug is a great product that I have wanted to try for a long time. I have been using this product for maybe two years and what I like most about this product. It actually uses a solid block of charcoal to filter your water, rather than a regular Walmart water filter like the Pur or Brita, which uses loose-grain charcoal to filter your water. In short, while Brita filters can only remove the taste of chlorine. and odors the Clear20 Advanced Water Pitcher can do just that, in addition to filtering out VOCs, herbicides, pesticides, chlorine disinfection by-products, pharmaceuticals and literally thousands of other chemicals and new chemicals in our tap water. As you know, cooking with tap water that has chlorine or chloramines in it and seasoning your water with iodized table salt results in sanitization with newly discovered foods that have been researched for possible health problems. Most people are concerned about the presence of lead in their drinking water, when they should be concerned about potentially thousands of chemicals leaking from the faucets that they use to cook, drink, shower and make baby formula! So moving on to the next, what I like about this pitcher is that it uses pressure instead of gravity and I can fill the entire pitcher in under a minute. It's super fast and really as fast as using an unfiltered faucet to fill a saucepan, so now the Clear20 Advanced Water Pitcher leaves me, or at least me, no excuse for not having drinking water and water for cooking food should filter. It usually takes forever with a Brita Gravity water filter, especially if you use water for cooking. The last thing I want to comment on is the taste of the water and spoiler alert: water is freaking amazing as its filtration literally sparkles in the pitcher and when you put it in the pot you can instantly tell the difference between the tap water and you realize used before moment. The water is literally crystal clear and just one glimpse of the sparkling clear water before you add rice, pasta or whatever you're cooking will let you know you've spent your money wisely, I'll post that photo in mine later Valuation. because I think it's freaking awesome to see. Also, when I brew tea, it tastes ethereal just because the water in this pot is high quality, and if you drink coffee (wicked), you'll also benefit from using quality coffee brewing water. And use less sugar in the process, because now you don't have to hide the bad taste of chlorine in your water, and who doesn't want to give up sugar. Helpful Tips Clear20 offer automatic filter delivery for this jug on their website which you can sign up for which is cheaper than buying filters individually and you should purchase a hose extension for the jug. Because the hose on the jug is very short and difficult to manipulate, the hose extension gives you a lot more freedom to move the jug around the sink. I hope this helped
