I have this bulb in a clip for my turtle tank. Recently the top of one of the lamps came loose from a metal screw in the base. The top fell into the tank and onto the moss, nearly catching it on fire. After that the clip started smoking and my turtle almost died. I inspected the base of the bulb when removing it from the clip and it looks like the bulb is stuck with mortar that doesn't seem to be holding. This can be dangerous if not checked regularly. I go back to the floor lamp.
