I watched a few YouTube videos and found that fixing my oven igniter was easy and suited my skill level. I ordered this igniter for my GE oven and aside from struggling to remove the oven door (it's not hard, I just skipped a step) it was an easy repair. After turning the switch back on and seeing the igniter glow red, I knew it was time for a lap of honor. My oven is working again just in time for Thanksgiving! And I didn't have to pay the mechanic $150 plus the overpriced part.
