When you buy cheap Chinese-made carburetors, you inevitably end up with a poor quality carburetor from time to time. That happened here. This leaks like a strainer due to a poorly machined adjustment screw on the bottom of the carburetor body - see picture where I point with a blue pen. I don't know if that applies to everyone, but the one I got was pretty sad. Next time I'll buy from someone else. Edit 9/19/16: I fixed a bowl leak with Quiksteel (about $4 per stick; cheaper than trying a different carburetor). After removing the carburetor from the golf cart, I removed the bowl and that leaking bolt. I pushed quite a bit of Quiksteel into the adjustment screw hole and just popped it in. After it was installed for an hour, I installed it again and the leak was gone!
