Installation was easy except reconnecting the hose to the bottom of the air.

Installation was easy except reconnecting the hose to the underside of the air cleaner housing and disconnecting the alternator to remove and replace the carburetor. It would be nice if the carb came with two spacers as I'm sure a lot of people thought all the spacers were included but they have to be ordered separately. In general very satisfied! This fits my 1993 EZ-go Robins 295CC.

I am a golf cart mechanic for a fleet of 120 cars.

I am a golf cart mechanic with a fleet of 120 gas golf carts, about 70 of which are EZGO TXT models that use this carburetor. I have previously removed, disassembled and cleaned carburetors when the main jets are clogged and the engines are running too lean for the problem to arise. For less than $25 for a carburetor that fell through my door, I can no longer afford to "rebuild" them. I never had a problem with them, screwed them up and left. Turns a 2 hour job into a 20 minute solution.

This leaks like a strainer due to a poorly machined adjustment screw on the bottom of the carburetor body - see picture where I point with a blue pen. I don't know if that applies to everyone, but the one I got was pretty sad. Next time I'll buy from someone else. Edit 9/19/16: I fixed a bowl leak with Quiksteel (about $4 per stick; cheaper than trying a…
