Just put them in my '01 Jetta TDI and they work great! My check engine light was on and the store wanted to charge me $130 for the connectors, $135 for a new wiring harness (which they say always needs to be replaced because the contacts oxidize and give out the CEL code anyway) and $200 for the labor. Instead, I bought 4 plugs here for less than 50€, installed them myself in 15 minutes and sprayed the contacts with contact cleaner (Deoxit 5 or similar). Let it dry for a few hours before reattaching and you're done! PS You still need to delete the CEL code as it is persistent. I have a Bluetooth OBD2 device that you can buy here for <$25 and use my smartphone with the Torque app to erase it. Or you pay your mechanic $20.
