Review on Tranquility Kids Weighted Blanket Blue by Sonia Hills

I am very happy with this blanket. I think it will be better for a 4-9 year old child. It's a bit short for my 11 year old but he still enjoys using it. This is a good size for my 8 year old. It really helped my two kids fall asleep. Although I think it can be hot in summer. My kids sleep with a regular duvet and this is used as a top cover. It doesn't cover my older child's shoulder to feet but is more like a diaper to keep them in place. It is sewn in squares so that the blanket's beads don't move around too much. In the first photo the cover is removed so you can see the ceiling inside. I love the washable cover! The cover closes with a zipper and is held in place with 8 drawstrings (see second picture). The cover has a softer, fluffy side and a grippier side. (3rd image) My criteria for purchasing a weighted blanket was that it should be heavy enough to be effective, light enough not to be a choking hazard, and provide protection. Other comforters sell the cover separately for quite a bit of money so selling it together seemed like a bargain. Very happy with this purchase!
