They have been sitting on the corner of my raised wooden manger for a few months. They look a bit silly but not as bad as the foam colored corner protectors. They came loose once after my toddler soaked the feeder by dousing it with the entire bowl of water. I wiped them with a rag and put them back on. Surprisingly, they've stayed ever since. So I guess it varies from surface to surface. You may need to use your own tape or glue (hot glue, super glue, gorilla glue, liquid nails) or lightly etch the surface to make them stick. Thanks to these corner protectors, there are no more falls (caused by the feeder). They are also a bit stiff as they are very dense. They are very good at preventing skin tears, but they don't always prevent small bruises.
