With 4 farm cats, 2 large dogs, a new litter of puppies and a chihuahua (they all spend most of their time in my living room/kind of a vet's office) I was devastated by my young daughter when the doctor told me said pet dander causes her sneezing, itching and hives. Unable to tear my daughter away from her furry friends, I was skeptical that Doc insisted that I buy big bucks air filters and a big buck broom to combat dandruff. TWO DAYS LATER - The piles of fur that usually gather in every corner no matter how much I sweep are noticeably smaller. There also seems to be less dust than usual on the surface of my furniture with the weekly cleaning. ONE WEEK LATER - now I only sweep once a day. That's all I have to do as the fur and dust no longer fly over the wood. The usual layer of red clay dust is almost gone! I never thought I would see the end of this! My daughter doesn't sneeze all the time and the hives haven't returned and I know it's not because she suddenly remembered to wash her face every time she came into contact with animals! Like any 10 year old! INSPECTION - I can't wait a month, I pulled out the filter to see what's going on and the LAYERS of debris this thing has caught is amazing. My old filters were never even close to that after a month+. With a quick wipe with a paper towel, I removed most of the dirt and put it back in. I am impressed. I sweep less, dust less, and now, without endless cleaning, I complain less. Allergy prevention is VERIFIED in my home.
