I bought this because I needed to be comcast compatible. I only got around to it after the one-month return period had expired. After several hours of me and Comcast trying to get it working, a Comcast tech found it to be buggy. He installed her rented cable modem, which worked fine. When I called Netgear they agreed to replace it but I had to pay over $30 to ship it back. An exchange didn't help either. My son installed his own which works. Don't buy this! I'm stuck with a cable modem that costs nothing, and I've spent good money on bad money by paying for return shipping once. I will never use this brand again.
