I love British detective stories and sitcoms. And unfortunately, many of the best classics are only available in British format. This player solves this problem for me. I bought a full set of DinnerLadies and last night I was laughing and joking and watching the show. Changing the region is effortless. The player immediately felt comfortable and adapted to the desired region. I understand that BluRay requires a button press, but I haven't tried it yet because I just wanted to watch a "regular" DVD. The picture quality on my 4K TV is excellent. When I set up the player, the first thing he wanted to do was update the firmware. I hesitated for fear losing multi-region functionality, but the seller reassured me via email so I went ahead and did it. The player still works well for multiple regions. Good player. I'm so glad I bought it.
