Well maybe it would get 2 1/2 stars if I had the chance. The part that slides up and down to adjust the size of the object it's holding has no side stops. There's no way to tighten it enough that my iPad won't slide out on both sides. To make sure the iPad is secure, I have to fold a cloth or paper towel and put it in the bottom slot to keep the iPad from falling out. You cannot use this horizontally. It's ok for practice or at home, but I wouldn't take it to a gig. Next time I'll pay a little more for something that will hold my iPad more securely.
