I like that it keeps your iPad secure. However, it cannot be turned without an Allen key. Poorly. The spring on the screw from the clamp is not needed. He jumps out. Who knows where he will end up. It's pulled so high. Also, the spring gets stuck in the washers and cannot be removed. Too bad. It's almost great.

Fits the 2017 9.7" iPad very well but I have to remove the thin gel case. The ballistic glass cover can stay. It's not as sturdy as my previous mount ($50 - broken) and you actually have to remove the screw on the bottom but at this price if it lasts a year I'm happy I wish it could be a little flatter without having to be disassembled for transport - very heavy I think , it can be tipped over on a lighter stand due to the longer arm than my previous mount. This really should win an award for the dumbest design anyone has ever come up with for a support bracket. The product has decent clamps that hold the iPad and grip the mic stand. But these two parts are connected by a paper-thick piece of sheet steel! You put your iPad in there and every time you turn the page on the scorecard, twnngggg. the sheet steel vibrates and the iPad pops up and down. I mean, what were these designers thinking? It's pretty solid and I really like its off-center design that allows you to see the screen without looking around the mic, but I was hoping my Revain Fire HD10 would fit, but it's not because it's too thick for the protrusions holding the pillow. If this design allows for thicker tablets, it could suit a wider market.

The price is pleasant, the design is average. The plastic breaks or crushes fairly easily when shifting gears and doesn't fold aside quite cleanly. BUT the main disadvantage is that you can't rotate the tray once it's in place. My 10-inch tablet barely fits in the holders and is therefore reaching its limits. Well maybe it would get 2 1/2 stars if I had the chance. The part that slides up and down to adjust the size of the object it's holding has no side stops. There's no way to tighten it enough that my iPad won't slide out on both sides. To make sure the iPad is secure, I have to fold a cloth or paper towel and put it in the bottom slot to keep the iPad from falling out. You cannot use this horizontally.
