I purchased a used minivan during the day but discovered that night that the low beam headlights were very dim and made it difficult to see the road. I researched this issue and found it talked about a lot on the web. I read recommendation to replace the halogen bulbs with LED. I watched YouTube videos demonstrating them so I purchased a set. WOW what a different. They are much brighter and whiter which illuminate the lines on the road much better. My only issue with them is they are a bit wabbly in the socket.
