This review is for pedals that have one side that is not flat and have an SPD clamp on both sides. I mounted them on my road bike and did a short ride so can't comment on their durability. The clampless mechanism works flawlessly and they are light enough. The description says the bearings are self-lubricating, meaning they are essentially oil-soaked bushings. If the quality is high enough, they should last a long time without the need for lubrication. This also allows them to keep the pedal compact, which is good when mounted on a road bike. Your lifespan may be limited on a mountain bike unless you only ride green trails and trails. Rockfalls on more difficult trails can affect the mechanism. Of course the price is right. If you've been wanting to try clip-on earrings for a long time, this is a great option.
