Review on πŸ’ͺ 4th Generation Theragun PRO: Advanced Percussive Therapy Device for Effective Deep Tissue Muscle Treatment and Massage by Lisa Simmons

Not for me for massagers and machines

I'm a 230 lb weight lifter, 6.2, I've tried and never used more than 3 barbells (about 30% of 60 lbs) per thigh or glutes, and those are the muscle groups that I can work very hard on. It's almost impossible and painful as hell to get it anywhere near the counter by actual use (not by hand as the YouTube ads show). With a 16mm reach and a 60-pound motor, it's great for horses, not humans. Maybe they need to rename it Animal Care in the future? The swing arm is useless - I just have to grip the handle to reach my back. For this reason I will continue to use Theragun and no other brands. For self-massage, this is the best design on the market and no other gun offers a 16mm amplitude that doesn't change with frequency. I trade mine for Elite or even Prime. The Pro is also a bit too loud for my liking, as I often use it late at night before bed, but that's not a huge problem for the gym. I tried the extra head (soft) that comes with the Pro version and not the other models - not very helpful. The classic flat worn over a sweatshirt looks the same. The case also turned out to be impractical for me - too bulky and unnecessary, it takes up half the space in my bag. The gun itself is very durable and won't break in my pocket. All in all, Pro is not for me. I think Prime or Elite will be my next step.
