Great shield - very roomy - so many possibilities. Overall the mount is simple, strong and has a much larger surface area to protect large wheels/saw blades etc. Unlike the Dremel guard it does not mount at an angle. It's not necessarily a bad thing in my opinion - it just makes it better for some jobs and not as efficient for others. I don't see it as a replacement for the similar Dremel body - it's a different beast - I bought both to save more. opens up possibilities for rotary tools and we have used both with excellent results. Gyroscopes do strong things - very strong, and their saw blades last longer than most saws I've used.
