Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Limited Edition Hyperkin Duke Wired Controller for Xbox One/Windows 10 PC (Green) - Officially Licensed by Xbox by Roxanne Medina

Funny novelty controller. Accept the size.

You won't really appreciate how big this thing is until you get your hands on it. I remember seeing the Duke at a friend's when the Xbox was brand new but was never surprised by its size. More comfortable controllers are larger these days, and that makes sense since, as an adult, I can't use smaller controllers or handhelds without larger grip surfaces. But damn. This thing is huge. I got the transparent green because I love transparent video game peripherals, and the green screamed Xbox to me. I'm not usually a fan of the color green, but thought it would be right for the Xbox. I don't have an Xbox One but I used it on my PC mostly for Steam games and a few others. This works great for her. Some games allow you to assign buttons. I don't understand why they went for a screen if it just shows the logo; It would be great if some games could use it for other purposes. I expect some modders to do this. Most of the detection area is not required; You only use the top half for the buttons. The analog triggers and vibrations feel a bit cheap to me. Creaks are triggered and the whole body trembles from this roar. Otherwise everything feels great. The keys have a nice feel and the digital shoulders feel great. The sticks are great and look like the original design. I'm not sure why the cable is detachable; You can't use this controller without it, and it would probably be better to make the cable with a reinforced connector for longer life. It's a bit pricey for what it is; I think most of the cost goes to the limited screen. Still, it's fun, especially if you're a controller freak like me.
