The brushes: I carefully checked each tip. There no stray bristles and they are all surprisingly full and attached well. No bristles pulled free when tugging on them or when cleaning and they maintained their shape well. For the price I was really surprised by the quality of the brushes. The case is overkill. I'd rather have the brushes in a cup or tray and don't plan on taking them out of the house. I'm giving that to the granddaughter because she use it for a brush stand.The knife and palette are really thin. The palette is almost too light and thin to use. Dragging a brush on the edge can actually flip it over.
