Definitely worth buying! I have a 5 month old Border Collie who loves jumping from the back seat to the front. Then he started driving. It was getting very dangerous so I looked for a seat belt that would restrain her and decided to give it a try. It definitely kept her in the back seat, she was also very strong and tried so hard to get in the front seat but it wouldn't budge, after about 20+ minutes she finally stopped struggling and lay down the rest of the way there. .UPDATE 12/16/2019After they've been running for almost a year now, I decided to do a small update. Unfortunately it didn't work for us as our dog got bigger. Several times we had to stop because she stepped on the buckle and disengaged, allowing herself to hop back into the front seat. The straps loosen over time no matter how many times we re-tighten them to limit our reach. We had to buy a different brand of seat belts that engage the seat latch rather than the one that buckles. Don't get me wrong, they're not exactly terrible (they worked well with our friend's dog), they just didn't work. for us mostly.
