So they are similar to the Fahrens brand (see this review for more information). The fitment is slightly different than the OEM, so it takes a little patience and a delicate but steady hand to install. In the light, the neck appears long and the diameter is slightly smaller. This will force the installer to apply excessive force to the case and if you are not careful you will damage the retaining clips. Also, the guide stops on the outside of the clip that snaps into the housing can be too tight against the clip, making installation difficult. I bought two sets of these and it's good too, I damaged one of the clips so badly I had to epoxy it when I needed it for a replacement. They're bright and I'm happy, but I'd try a different brand for my next purchase because of the installation. LED life has been okay so far, but it's only been a few weeks. I will update if they fail for durability reasons. I installed them on my 2500HD LTZ. You do not need any additional equipment or tires for this vehicle.
