Love this felt. The only thing I don't like is that it's very difficult to remove the reverse gear. By the time you remove the pad, the felt will have worn out. It's soft and I love that you can trim it to fit your piece. I have just redecorated my bedroom and will not attach anything to make it stand out. I covered the console, lamp bases and anything else I might put in there. It's not thick, but it's not super thin either. And flexible enough to fold down the sides. Aside from the fact that it took me 5 minutes to remove the rollback, I'm very satisfied. Oh, and when you take it off, the backing or adhesive will stick to what you're taking off. I had to redo the piece and when I tried to take it off only the felt came off, not the glue.
