. 8000 is better not to buy. Don't get me wrong, this will sharpen your knives. But there are 2 problems. The 3000 side is too soft, it became U-shaped after sharpening 2 knives. a lot of pressure on it so i asked her if that is true since i use the same method to sharpen my knives why doesn't that happen with the other side (#8000) and the other stone (400/1000)? You don't give me an answer to this question at all. Another problem is that 8000 is actually not that good, I will say the best is #4000. I tried King Stones after these 2 stones I bought in Mighty Dreams and King Stones are much better than these 2 , they cost you a little more but the quality is much better. If you really want to buy from this company I would say go for 400/1000, DO NOT buy a 3000/8000 stone.
