Review on πŸ’‘ Modern LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light: 12 Inch, 24W, 5000K Daylight White, 3200LM, IP40 Flat Round Lighting Fixture for Bedroom, Closet, Kitchen - 240W Equivalent by Pete Martin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Amazing amount of light - can be changed to fit a ceiling fan.

These lights are very bright. I am very happy with them. I installed 5 of these in my house and ordered 3 more. To make the installation easier, I suggest a few things. 1) Connect two 14 gauge stranded wire about 8" long to the solid wires in your junction box - this makes the installation a lot easier thanks to the flexible wires. 2) The light comes with EU wires (blue/brown) stripped to expose approximately 1/4 inch of the wire. Strip an extra 1/4 inch of wire so you have about 1/2 inch of stripped wire - this makes it much easier to join the wires together. 3) Attach the plastic support ring to the junction box. 4) Connect the flexible wires you installed to the light wires. Blue combines with white. Brown meets black. You can hang the device by the wires if you are careful. 5) Place the tool on the backup ring and rotate 1/4 turn (counterclockwise) (to the left) until it stops. Make sure you know in advance which way to turn. The ceiling fan above my desk needed more light so I decided to install one of these lights. It can be done, but it's an advanced project. I removed four A-15 jacks. I drilled a 1/8" hole right in the middle of the 12" jig, managed to avoid the electronics and fed the pull chain through the hole. I started with a 1/16" drill bit and increased the size to a 1 8" diameter drill bit. Be careful, the drill can melt the plastic. Obviously drilling holes in the mount will void the warranty. The specs are the same 24W 3200 Lumens 5000K from different sellers on Revain, it's the same product but at a lower price. It currently costs $24.88 per light.

Pros
