Just received and installed this afternoon. The first 2 hours of the "night shift" were great. Everything works as intended. This compact (approx. 10 inch long), lightweight (2.04 lb), 50W daylight light is an economical replacement for the aging high pressure sodium lamp. Installation was uneventful (happy face) - 2lbs easy to carry/set up on a 15ft ladder. I returned the 70w (7+lb) BEEFY unit - the 5lb weight difference is "a big price to pay for the 20w extra lighting". Very happy with the brightness of this 50W 6500lm Daylight CREE LED 5000K. The photocell works. Will be bought again when other "aging outdoor security lights" are phased out. Hope the reliability lasts more than 5 years. Will be upgraded to 5 stars after 6 months of excellent performance. July 10, 2020 / UPDATE 1 month in advance. Very satisfied. No problem. I have used both the built in photocell and the wall switch. September 7, 2020 / UPDATE 3 months in advance. Still very happy. No problem! November 14, 2020 / 5-month UPDATE. Very happy with freezing weather. No problem.
