works great for what i bought it for. The top and bottom trays snap together nicely and firmly, and it's not too difficult to lock them in place. there is one thing If the middle or top compartment is not latched and the bottom one is latched, you (I would) have to fiddle with it to lift the latch to close it. there's not much room between the closed latch on the bottom, not enough to slip a finger in, and the side edges sit close enough to the tub that it can be difficult to lift from the side. It's not hard to do, it's just not something you can do with your hand without paying attention. So if they are all open and you stack them, close the top one first and go down. I particularly like the blue divider box in the upper basket. The size of the slots is good, not so small that nothing fits in, but not so big that it is useless as a divider either.
