Works exactly as advertised. Allows you to install a 140mm fan where you only have one set of 120mm holes in your case, but also works as a small cover. Some cons. understood why. (Note - they won't work side-by-side without changing artboards) The adapters are said to come with 4 screws, but the screws float freely in the box (no bag of screws) and the screws can slip out of the gap between the back of the box and the cover of the blister pack, which are only fixed with clips, allowing clearance during transport or handling of the product. Of the eight screws with my two adapters, I only found 2 screws in a pack. Yes, half the screws in one pack and zero in the other. Blame it on a black hole between the manufacturer and delivery to my address or the miser who designed the packaging. Not worth sending back as I have many packets of screws from previous fans but this is still annoying as you need 4 screws to attach each fan to the adapter and another 4 screws to attach it to your case - then there are 8 screws for each block. In total. The material is quite thin and brittle where the 140mm fan attaches to the corners of the adapters. I broke one corner slightly by hand tightening one screw, so I was more careful with the other seven corners as I screwed on both fans. Don't use an electric screwdriver or you will most likely break the corners. Something makes me wonder if the missing screws were there, maybe they would fit better than the alternatives I had to use? These adapters fit side by side in the existing 2 120mm hole sets side by side without drilling as the holes in the adapters are evenly spaced on all 4 sides of the adapters. This means that one adapter will fit in the first set of 120mm holes, but the second adapter will not fit in the second set of 120mm holes because the 140mm width is 10mm over the space of the adjacent 120- mm fan and leaves no room for a second set.adapter. which in turn advances another 10 mm towards the first position of the fans. So you can fit one into the supplied set of 120mm holes, but will need to drill a new set of holes at 20mm to accommodate the 10mm interference of each adjacent fan. If you were to move some of the 140mm fan holes to one side of the adapter, you could simply rotate the adapter to move the 140mm fan 10mm to one side, mounting two 120mm fans side-by-side could do what I expected. The picture was a bit misleading as you see the fan mounting slot without realizing that the fan holes only align with the outermost part of the screw slots leaving no room for the fan to move from side to side. Okay just drilled four new holes instead of eight, not the end of the world but pretty much the whole point of buying more than one adapter to use them side by side as I'm really questioning how I was going to put my 280mm -Radiator inside without drilling into the case. At this point I would have left out adapters altogether unless the shroud would likely improve airflow by increasing the clearance between the fan and the case. Plus, as soon as I broke a corner, I realized they were mine. In hindsight I should have sent back as soon as the package turned out to be missing screws which may have contributed to the broken screw size corner. 3 1/2 stars because they work, they have an included shroud that fits a 120mm to 140mm bore. , missing screws and non-shifted holes for mounting several side by side. I blame myself for not researching them better. Decent product that could use a little improvement. Just know what you're buying, especially if the price is so low it's not worth returning.
