This protective case - I hesitate to call it a case because it's something more - was a pleasant surprise. I was concerned about fit and practicality but everything works very well. First, it looks really nice. The soft leather outside has a pleasant look and feel. The inner lining is thin - that's the only downside - so the case is better protected from scratches and minor bumps than it would be from a 1.50m drop onto a concrete floor. Don't expect the impossible! The laptop fits perfectly and the case closes well. The big surprise was the built-in laptop stand. At first I thought it was just a stupid marketing gimmick, but it's not. While I won't be using this in most situations, it's great if you need a travel stand - it already has it. The same applies to the small mouse pad that comes out on the side. Not ideal for hours at a time, but good for the road. The case comes with two covers. You can put a mouse in one and maybe flimsy/small cables or flash drives in the other, but that's pretty much overkill. I give five stars. Amazing utility and value.
