I decided to invest in a more expensive fan with additional features. I feel like this is the right fan as it spins 360 degrees and is quiet so I don't have to fight the TV with the noise. The best part is how quiet it is, which is great for my living room but might not be great if I'm used to white noise in the bedroom. The room temperature on the LCD is a nice touch, but it doesn't integrate with the settings. However, it comes with a remote control that you can control from a good distance. I think they could have the fan base installed without screws, but I am. I think the price is right although this is a big purchase for a fan. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a powerful, large, quiet fan with a few extra features and doesn't mind paying a little more for it.
