This thing is bright. Make sure you turn off the transformer (ballast). Mine came with the center wire and connector I used, not the ends of the tube. BE CRAZY! This is very important for some devices. It only works for 30 minutes but I'm impressed. It's too bright, I'll probably connect a power resistor and lower the voltage a bit to dim it. Maybe install a second switch that connects it to the circuit so I have a bright work light in the sink and then a night light. I'm impressed and the price is right compared to others. It appears to be a quality device no matter where it was made. Maybe one day they will be made in the USA.
