This is either a little small or true to size. My daughter was in a growth spurt when we got this and she loves it and outgrew it pretty quickly like most 4-5 year olds. But for your dancing parents, you know you can buy them one size bigger because then they will be too big to use. But it was very cute for my daughter and the other girls in her class liked it too. Pretty well built but expect it to last about as long as your kid of that size. Some of your other brands are better tailored than this one, but then again, it's beautiful, cute, and works.
