There is very little connection between the driver's seat design and this cover. I fitted the passenger side cover first - a bit loose but ok - because I wanted the cover for the side my dog sits on. It's difficult for him to slide on the plastic/leather seat, so I bought him a cloth cover. We went for a ride and it seemed to help, so I tried installing the driver's side cover. Obviously the seat pad designers never saw a Ford Ranger 60/40 seat. I think I could install it if they made the seat belt holes on the correct side of the trunk, but no, the hole is on the side closest to the door. The seat belt connector is closer to the center of the vehicle. You know, the strap goes over the outside of the shoulder, across the chest and connects at the right thigh. There is no hole to put the strap through the seat cover or connect the strap. I tried wrapping the seat cover around the seat belt, but then the cover didn't fit over the center seat extender. The pictures on the box say "Use with built-in seat belts is acceptable" but that's not true. By the way, there are holes for the seat belt on the WRONG side of the cover. I'm debating whether to cut a hole in the right place for a seat belt or return a set with paw prints and dog hair.
