There is very little connection between the driver's seat design and this cover. I fitted the passenger side cover first - a bit loose but ok - because I wanted the cover for the side my dog sits on. It's difficult for him to slide on the plastic/leather seat, so I bought him a cloth cover. We went for a ride and it seemed to help, so I tried installing the driver's side cover.
