The skirt is hardly transparent. I wear black spanks shorts during the day, but you don't notice it at night. I'm 5ft 11" and I usually wear size 12 pants, I ordered a large size and it fits me perfectly. I don't fold the waistband and it sits at the perfect height for the blouse to be tucked in or unbuttoned. .Very soft and comfortable, perfect for summer. I have washed my skirt but not dried it and have not noticed any shrinkage, warping, pilling or fading. I have black and bordeaux and will order more colors.
