As expected it was exactly what the doctor ordered. Good quality and did what I needed. Interestingly, it was almost impossible to buy it in every store. They had a lot of male RCA plugs but none for females. Worked great for my application. I had a set of wireless headphones for my TV, my new Toshiba flat screen TV doesn't have any audio outputs - how stupid. Apparently many flat screens now don't have audio jacks other than optical - that's what happened to the standard 3.5mm jack. The local Listen Up dealer offered me a good workable solution. With my Direct TV DVR (which has RCA audio outputs - and is separate from the other audio outputs so I can mute the broadcast except for my headphones). Here this adapter has served its purpose. Simply connect to the DVR and then to the headphones. I bought 2 adapters, one for the DVR and one for the Blue Ray player. Great solution that works!
