Review on 🖨️ IOGEAR GUB231 Black: High-performance 2-Port USB 2.0 Automatic Printer Switch by Terrence Castillo

Buying this crap from Revain after getting sucked into marketing lies and reading how the device is supposed to make your life easier only to find out that the device is nothing more sold as a piece of crap with contrived rhetorical hype so someone can make a buck or two gets really old. Come on Revane, why can't you monitor the sales better? Yes - I've seen negative reviews - with a few good ones scattered around (obviously from the seller or his close friends) but I figured since there really isn't anything better to try I might as well play that all those negative reviewers didn't really know what they were talking about, or didn't know how to use it properly. NOT RIGHT! Long story short, after spending several hours trying to get this thing to work properly, I gave up. Manual switching works well, but it doesn't work automatically, even if you've set it to switch automatically in the software. If you set it to toggle automatically, it will toggle, but before printing, the printer will remove the pressure. What a crap! I'm pretty sure the problem is that this thing was designed and manufactured around 2008 for Windows Vista and older printer models. Support told me it doesn't work with most multifunction printers due to their built in monitoring software. So why is this thing still on the market? This borders on cheating and revenge, Iogear And that seller should be ashamed!
