The size is smaller than the table.
I have 3 harnesses for my 3 cats who will fly abroad with me. According to the chart, size M should have been just right, but they were too narrow in armhole and girth for my 8-9 lb cats. Luckily my sister was comfortable and added 2 inches to the velcro and now the cats are feeling a lot more comfortable. They are strong and the cats couldn't manage to get out of them.
