The mites inhabited my home within 2 months. I was afraid to tell the landlord because they have a bed bug clause which says if you bring bed bugs into the apartment you will be evicted. I was too scared that they would just say that the mites were bed bugs or that I had introduced some kind of parasitic bug, although I am very careful and actually afraid of bugs and will take all measures not to let anyone inside. But once this situation started it got so bad that I used all sorts of powders, oils and sprays but they were on the carpets. I couldn't find out where they came from for the rest of my life. They seemed to pop out of nowhere from time to time to land on something in front of me. That's when I looked up and realized that the areas I got the most of were in the parts of each room that had vents. So I bought this to keep the air from blowing out the mites. There must be birds or squirrels on the roof but the way they bit me turned into a nightmare.
